Bleu Cream™ is a gentle combination of healing herbs, botanicals, and vegan emollients. Originally formulated to combat severe, resistant diaper rash and cradle cap, Bleu Cream™ can be used to sooth, hydrate, and calm troubled skin anywhere on the body. The soft, herbaceous scent and baby blue hue comes from the addition of antioxidant rich, naturally pigmented and scented floral and herbal ingredients.
Bleu Cream™ contains zero artificial fragrances or colors and is 100% vegan. There are absolutely no animal products or by-products in our creams. We only use pure, gentle, safe and effective organic herbs, botanicals and emollients in every small batch we make. It works, and it smells good too.
HOW TO USE FOR DIAPER RASH, HIVES, AND ECZEMA: Gently and thoroughly clean the troubled skin including all folds with lukewarm (wrist temperature) water, mild soap, and a cotton cloth. Avoid using packaged wet wipes until the rash has fully cleared and instead use plain, clean water mixed with a drop of mild, liquid soap in a squeeze bottle over a towel; rinse the soap off well with clean, tepid water but do not rub, scrub, or pick at the irritated skin. Gently pat the area dry with a clean cloth. Apply a pea-to dime sized amount of Bleu Cream to the entire troubled area(s). You can apply more product if needed, but a little goes a long way. For several days, consistently keep the irritated skin clean and exposed to air when possible, or keep covered with clean, loose, cotton clothing, bloomers, or a fresh, unscented diaper. Change diapers immediately after they become soiled and promptly, gently, wash the diaper area with lukewarm water, pat dry and reapply Bleu Cream™ after every diaper change until the rash is completely cleared.
It’s a lot, we know from experience, but consistency is key in getting rid of these stubborn rashes. If the rash worsens after several days to a week of this routine, consult a dermatologist or your physician. There could be more going on than is evident. Even after the rash has cleared, though, always remove soiled diapers as soon as possible and wash the diaper area with water and mild soap, rinse the soap off and gently pat dry and use a new, clean diaper every time. This will help keep the rash from reoccurring until you are able to potty train that lovely baby of yours.
The adventure continues! Don’t be discouraged. The fact that you're here means you care, and the fact that you care counts for everything in parenting. Remember to breathe, and also to laugh, and everything will be ok.
FOR CRADLE CAP: Gently massage a dime sized amount of Bleu Cream™ into the scaly scalp areas and let sit for 20-30 minutes, or overnight. You can very gently massage the area again to loosen scales before shampooing with a mild baby shampoo. Be sure to rinse the shampoo thoroughly with slightly warm, (wrist temperature) water. Do not apply conditioner. Carefully pat the scalp with a clean towel to remove excess water and let air dry completely. You can apply an additional pea sized amount after the hair and scalp are completely dry right before bedtime. Gently massage Bleu Cream™ on the scalp daily and/or nightly and wash the scalp gently to remove the loose flakes until the cradle cap is diminished or has fully resolved. Never scrub, scratch, peel, or pick at cradle cap as this can cause serious infection. Be patient, be gentle, and be consistent, and it will get better.
CAUTION: Use as directed. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If any adverse reaction develops, discontinue use and contact your physician.
